How the Idea First Popped
Our company is owned and managed by Curt and Sherry Neuharth. The well-traveled duo hatched the idea of putting up a gourmet popcorn business after visiting several stores they encountered in past journeys.
Curt worked as an HVACR instructor for 23 years before deciding to move back to Yankton and be closer to the family. They have two daughters, Chelsea and Skyla.
Completing the family circle with Curt and Sherry are one son-in-law, Jay, and twin grandsons, Isaiah and Noah.
For the Love of Daisy
Craizy Daisy’s Gourmet Popcorn is named after the family dog, Daisy, a Karelian bear dog.
Daisy was a sweet, loving dog who brought love and joy to the family for a long time before passing away when she was 15 and a half years old.
Daisy’s memory lives on in our popcorn business as Curt and Sherry continue to keep their dream of opening a store of their own for the past six and a half years alive.
